About
Maptam
Total Aviation Management — on one map.
Maptam is a map-first aviation platform for everyone who uses the sky — drone operators and pilots alike. Instead of switching between separate apps for airspace, weather, NOTAMs, flight planning and drone authorisations, Maptam brings them together on a single, shared map.
Maptam is a tool that is made for aviation professionals providing total aviation management.
One map, the right view for you
Aviation today is fragmented, drone operators and manned-aviation pilots work in different tools, even though they share the same airspace. Maptam's Role Lens adapts the map and the tools to who you are and what you fly, so each user sees what is relevant to their operation without losing sight of everyone else in the sky.
Maptam is built for:
- Drone operators and remote pilots
- VFR and IFR pilots
- Helicopter operators
- Flying clubs and FBOs
- Aviation enthusiasts
What you can do today
- Explore airspace, aerodromes and aeronautical data on an interactive map, in light or dark mode
- Plan flights and export ICAO flight plans
- Plan and file drone operations (U-Plans) directly on the map
- See information tailored to your role
- Manage your account and subscription in one place
Where we're going
Maptam is starting in Norway and expanding across the globe. Our roadmap includes live traffic, deeper role-specific data layers, map-native risk assessment for drone operations, and integration with the U-space ecosystem as it matures.
Safety notice
Maptam is a planning and situational-awareness tool. It does not replace official sources. Always verify against the current AIP, NOTAMs and an official pre-flight briefing, and follow the instructions of air traffic services. The pilot or operator in command remains responsible for the safe conduct of every flight.
Who we are
Maptam is developed by Designerpilots AS in Trondheim, Norway, and built by pilots with backgrounds in commercial manned and unmanned flying.
